The rising price of milk continues to be a problem for food processors. US Soy has successfully developed a low fat soymilk powder base using organic and non-GM soy ingredients as a replacement for non-fat milk powder. In many applications, this can be successfully accomplished. The advantages in cost savings and supply availability are obvious. This is a work in progress, so contact US Soy for additional details on this research.
